This allows different services to be combined on one connection. BlueOptics passive Multiplexers bundle several optical signals and thus enable their transmission via one fiber (multiplexing). On the opposite side, these signals are unbundled again with a Demultiplexer in order to divide the signals again into several fibers (demulitplexing).
