The company CBO, today announced to have started the production of twinax cable solutions. This includes a wide range of Direct Attach Cables (DAC), for a data transmission via copper with different connection types for different applications, which are published under the product series BlueLAN. So CBO from now on provides affordable quality products for the professional use on short connections in the data center.
All Direct Attach cables are manufactured exclusively with components of known manufacturer brands from America or Switzerland, such as Amphenol, Belden, Molex or TE Connectivity.
The BlueLAN product line includes active and passive cable solutions for connecting hardware in racks and across adjacent racks, in different variations. Passive Direct Attach Cables are available in various lengths of up to 10 meters, active direct attach cables are available in up to 15 meters length. For bandwidths of up to 10 Gigabit/s different 1: 1 variants with SFP, SFP+, XFP or IB4X connector are available.
All BlueLAN Direct Attach cables support Ethernet, Fibre Channel and InfiniBand standards, taking any applicable standards and norms for the individual components into account. CBO grants a guarantee of 5 years for all cable functions accompanied by lifelong support.
