The BlueOptics MPO (Multi-fiber Push-On) high density cassette solution from CBO, with MPO to LC duplex connectors, features high port density and offers up to 24 fibers, in one HD cassette.

BlueOptics HD MPO cassette solutions are designed for the transmission of optical signals and are suitable, for example, for the conversion of MPO connections to LC connections and for the associated connection to optical transceivers. The MPO cassette drawers are installed in a stackable manner, where each layer can be inserted or pulled out independently, this makes it easy to separate the cables to avoid tangling. Each module is equipped with a rivet buckle lock to prevent slippage, and each layer can be independently pushed in or pulled out.

Fast Installation

BlueOptics HD MPO cassettes represent the easiest cabling solution to install according to the EN50173-5, as well as the ISO/IEC 24764 standard and are very comfortable to handle especially compared to conventional fiber optic splice boxes. Thanks to the modular design of BlueOptics HD MPO cassettes, it is possible to quickly create or expand a fiber optic installation, saving 75% of the usual installation time and more than 50% rack space due to the compact size. In addition, since no splicing equipment or special tools are required, there is no need for costly employee training - no more assembly or testing is required. Labeling for clear Assignment & Highest Component Quality

The MPO cassettes developed by BlueOptics itself are all marked with a unique ID that corresponds to the connections on the panels or cassettes. This makes them easy to assign. The color panel on the front of the housing is also used to record other important information. For loss-free transmission performance, only brand-name fibers from well-known manufacturers such as Corning, Fujikura or YOFC are used in the production of BlueOptics HD MPO cassettes. All connectors are manufactured by brand manufacturers such as Amphenol, Diamond, Nissin Kasei or Reichle & De-Massari with highly reliable BlueOptics Zirconia ceramic ferrule and achieve a lifetime of up to 1500 mating cycles.

Error-free Transmission

BlueOptics HD MPO cassettes are tested for quality after production using interferometer and optical time domain reflectometry (OTDR). A measurement report of the input loss and return loss values is included with each MPO cassette shipped.

BlueOptics HD MPO cassettes meet the Telcordia requirements GR-326-Core 4.4.

Industrial Standards

BlueOptics' 1U high-density enclosure equipped with MPO cassettes fully complies with EIA standards and can therefore be used in all cabinets that meet these standards. BlueOptics HD MPO cassettes are manufactured in compliance with generally accepted industry standards and norms. The internal pigtails have a flame retardant LSZH jacket. This results in a very low smoke emission in case of fire compared to pigtails with PVC jacket. Furthermore, no halogen is released.

BlueOptics HD MPO cassettes comply with the following standards: IEC-61034, IEC-754-1, IEC 60332-1, IEC 60332-3, IEC/EN 60950 and RoHS.
