CBO introduces its 400G QSFP-DD transceiver series

CBO, as a leading provider of fiber optic concepts, today announced the launch of the 400G QSFP-DD transceiver series.

1. 400GBASE-DR4 QSFP-DD Transceiver (BlueOptics© BO29X139S5D)

The BlueOptics 400GBASE-DR4 QSFP-DD transceiver is designed for long-haul connectivity at speeds up to 400 gigabits per second. The BlueOptics© BO29X139S5D is fully compliant with MSA standards and is available with an MPO-12/MTP-12 optical connector. This model receives and transmits at 1350nm wavelength and when using a single mode fiber link, a transmission range of up to 500 meters can be achieved. With this transceiver, Ethernet switches can be interconnected via 8 parallel single-mode links.

2. 400GBASE-DR4+ QSFP-DD Transceiver (BlueOptics© BO29X13902D)

The BlueOptics 400GBASE-DR4+ QSFP-DD has a longer range than the 400GBASE-DR4 QSFP-DD transceiver mentioned above. Over a single-mode fiber link, the transmission range increases up to 2 kilometers for this transceiver.

3. 400GBASE-FR4 QSFP-DD Transceiver (BlueOptics© BO29XIC602D)

The BlueOptics 400GBASE-FR4 QSFP -DD also features transmission speeds of up to 400 Gbps and is available with an LC Duplex connector. This module uses 4-channel CWDM technology for transmissions. With this transceiver, two Ethernet switches can be connected via only two single-mode fiber optic lines. The BlueOptics BO29XIC602D supports ranges of up to 2 kilometers.

4. 400GBASE-LR4 QSFP-DD Transceiver (BlueOptics© BO29XIC610D)

The BlueOptics 400GBASE-LR4 QSFP-DD transceiver is an ideal solution for single-mode 400 Gbps applications over long distances. The module comes with an LC duplex connector and supports speeds of up to 400 gigabits per second. It transmits and receives using 400GBASE-LR4 technology via four CWDM channels. Ethernet switches can be connected via two singlemode fiber optic lines. With the BlueOptics BO29XIC610D, transmission distances of up to 10 kilometers can be achieved via singlemode fibers.

5. 400GBASE-SR8 Transceiver QSFP-DD Transceiver (BlueOptics© BO29X854S1D)

The BlueOptics 400GBASE-LR4 QSF-DDP transceiver is designed for short haul, multimode 400Gigabit applications. It is offered with a MPO-16/MTP-16 connector. For processing data transfers over optical fiber, the BlueOptics© BO29X854S1D transceiver is available together with an electronic high-speed interface. Only two singlemode fiber optic lines are required to connect two Ethernet switches. The BlueOptics BO29X854S1D uses 400GBASE-SR8 technology for transmission over 8x 850nm with 50 GBit/s each. Using OM4 fiber links, 100 meters can be bridged, and using OM5, 150 meters can be bridged.
