Supporting a data rate of up to 1Gbps with 100 Meter link length on Cat5E (or above) RJ45 patch cable and up to 160km on single-mode fiber. The BlueOptics BLMC003 Gigabit Media Converter supports duplex fiber or simplex fiber SFP transceiver modules for multimode and single-mode fiber applications (FX, SX, LX, LH, EX, ZX, BX). The BlueOptics BLMC003 Gigabit Media Converter uses Auto-Negotiation and automatically detects whether the copper port speed is 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps, or 1G, and performs a rate conversion to 100 Mbps or Gigabit if the fiber SFP speed is different. Also, it automatically detects whether a Gigabit or Fast Ethernet Fiber Optic SFP transceiver has been deployed and automatically adjusts.
