Fiber Accessories

BlueOptics is a trademark of CBO, which combines various products for the optical data transmission. All BlueOptics products are manufactured in compliance with all generally applicable industrial standards and norms, as well as the standards customary for the respective product. BlueOptics products achieve above-average life times and reach or surpass the performance of conventional NoName or branded products due to their unique product design and the use of high-quality single components from well-known traditional companies for the production of optical data communication components. BlueOptics products provide a highly reliable solution for fail-safe data links in fiber-optic high-speed networks to connect switches, routers, servers, firewalls, load balancers, FTTX systems and similar hardware with optical ports.

The production process of BlueOptics products takes place exclusively in ISO 9001 certified factories in order to ensure a consistent high standard of all BlueOptics products.
BlueOptics Transceivers are a combination of transmitter and receiver for the transfer of optical signals. BlueOptics Transceivers use an electronic to optical converter to translate the signals within the Optical Transceiver. For the transmission, BlueOptics Transceivers use LEDs or lasers. The reception of BlueOptics Transceiver signals takes place via a PIN or an APD detector. BlueOptics Transceivers can be used in various hardware systems, e.g. in switches, servers, HBA's, etc. BlueOptics Transceivers offer different duplex or simplex connectors. Furthermore, BlueOptics Transceivers are hot pluggable and thus can be used or removed during operation. BlueOptics Transceivers also offer Digital Diagnostic Monitoring, which allows you to monitor various values of the BlueOptics Transceiver, such as the temperature, while being in live mode. BlueOptics transceivers can be used data and telecom networks, for the realization of Ethernet, Fibre Channel, SONET/SDH applications, etc. BlueOptics transceivers are available in different form factors (SFP, SFP+, QSFP, QSFP28 and others) for several distances and bandwidths of up to 100G.
BlueOptics Active Optical Cables have a transceiver at its respective ends, a combination of transmitter and receiver which is connected to a fiber cable for the transfer of optical signals. The BlueOptics Active Optical Cable uses an electronic to optical converter to translate the signals within the Transceiver of the BlueOptics Active Optical Cable. For the transmission, the BlueOptics Active Optical Cable uses LEDs or lasers. The reception of the BlueOptics Active Optical Cable signals takes place via a PIN or an APD detector. BlueOptics Active Optical Cables can be used in various hardware systems, e.g. in switches, servers, HBA's, etc. Furthermore, BlueOptics Active Optical Cables are hot pluggable and thus can be installed or removed during operation.

BlueOptics Active Optical Cables also offer Digital Diagnostic Monitoring, which allows you to monitor various values of the BlueOptics Active Optical Cable, such as the temperature, while being in live mode. BlueOptics Active Optical Cables are a pre-assembled active optical cable transmission solution for fiber-optic networks with bandwidths of up to 100G. BlueOptics Active Optical Cables in various lengths as 1:1 and breakout variant for fiber data links of up to 100 meter range.
BlueOptics Fiber Patch Cords consist of a core of glass, which provides a high refractive index, surrounded by a low refractive index cladding. This is also reinforced with aramide threads to prevent physical damage of the BlueOptics Fiber Patch Cord core and the sheathing, which is ultimately surrounded by a synthetic sheathing for protection. This allows BlueOptics Fiber Patch Cords to transmit optical signals from point to point with low signal loss, even at large distances. BlueOptics Fiber Patch Cords are mainly used for the connection of optical transceivers, patch panels and further extensions of optical fiber connections of existing high-speed networks. BlueOptics Fiber Patch Cords can interconnect routers, servers, firewalls, load balancers, FTTX systems and similar hardware with other optical ports among each other. BlueOptics Fiber Patch Cords for multi-mode (OM2, OM3 & OM4) and (G.652.D OS2) single-mode fiber-optic links with low input loss and high return loss are available in various lengths and versions with LC, SC, ST or E2000 fiber connector.
BlueOptics MPO / MTP Solutions are parallel optical transmission soultion components, that can transmit signals on various fibers at once. As a standard for the transmission of signals in a network today, BlueOptics MPO / MTP Solutions represent a way to build favorable high-availability connections in high-speed networks in hardware from different manufacturers. MPO / MTP Solutions of the brand BlueOptics use only high-quality brand fibers from well-known traditional companies for the production of glass products or communication technologies (for example from Corning or Fujikura) and high-quality fiber optic connectors (for example from Nissin Kassei, Diamond or Reichle & De-Massari). BlueOptics MPO / MTP flexible parallel-optical cabling solutions for installations with high port density are available as trunk cables, breakout cables and rack chassis cassettes for multi-mode (OM3 & OM4) and single-mode (G.652.D OS2) fiber cablings.
BlueOptics PLC Splitter distributes a single fiber to several other fibers, also the reverse handling is possible. The BlueOptics PLC Splitter works with a low error rate and a uniform split behavior over the entire wavelength range from 1260nm to 1650nm. Because of the passive construction of the BlueOptics PLC Splitter, no additional power sources are required, which increases the reliability of the Splitter making a complicated configuration unnecessary. BlueOptics Passive PLC Splitter solutions can split or combine optical signals for data transmissions for several subscribers via a single optical fiber is available as rack solution, ABS box or bare fiber version.
BlueOptics multiplexers combine several optical signals into one signal and send this bundled (multiplexed) signal via an optical fiber cable. In the reverse process, a BlueOptics Demultiplexer, demultiplexes the original channels on the receiver side back into several signals. This allows the potential of a connection to be fully utilized allowing CWDM / DWDM applications. BlueOptics passive de-/ multiplexer solutions for CWDM or DWDM multi- or demultiplexing processes in fiber optic networks are available as rack, bare fiber or ABS box solution for an easy and flexible connection to your fiber optic network.
BlueOptics Accessories are additional products for the extension and optimization of optical single- and multi-mode fiber optical networks and are available as attenuators, couplers, pigtails and other fiber accessories in different versions for different requirements.
BlueOptics products are manufactured in compliance with generally accepted industrial standards and norms and have an above-average lifetime. BlueOptics products also exceed standards and norms due to their properties.

As a standard for the transmission of signals in a network today, BlueOptics products represent a way to build favorable high-availability connections in high-speed networks in hardware from different manufacturers. Products of the brand BlueOptics use only high-quality brand fibers from well-known traditional companies for the production of glass products or communication technologies.

Please be careful with NoName and 3rd Party OEM products, which mostly use cheap components of Asian companies, in the worst case cheap replicas from China. These products have a function at the first moment, but they cannot achieve the attenuation, longevity, and quality of the products that use the components of market-leading manufacturers.
BlueOptics products only use components from marked leading manufacturers from the USA and are delivered with a warranty period of 5 years for active components and 25 years for passive components. During this time, you will receive free support for your BlueOptics product and of course you can always talk to the CBO team. In the rarely event of a fault of the BlueOptics product you will receive a new BlueOptics product, free of charge, to minimize unwanted downtime.
You need technical support or do you have questions about a BlueOptics product? The CBO team will be happy to help you with any question regarding your BlueOptics product and will also help you with all your questions.
