The BlueOptics© BO29X854S1D Quad Small Form-Factor Pluggable Double Density (QSFP-DD) transceiver with optical MPO-16/MTP-16 connector from CBO is designed for short-range multi-mode 400 Gigabit Ethernet (400GbE) high-speed applications of up to 400 gigabits per second.

The BlueOptics BO29X854S1D QSFP-DD transceiver with an electric high-speed interface for optical data transfers, can be used for connecting Ethernet switches with eight parallel OM4 or OM5 fiber cores. The transmission uses the 400GBASE-SR8 technology, via 8x 850nm, each with 50 Gbps. Over an OM4 fiber link this module achieves a transmission distance of up to 100 meters and up to 150 meters over OM5.
