Before returning the goods, the Troubleshooting Guide of the product must be followed and then an RMA must be requested.
Guidelines for the Return of Customer Packaging for Service and Product RMA Shipments.
What conditions are attached to the RMA return?
The complete product, including its accessory components, must be returned to CBO in the same condition in which it was removed from the end-user network and must be properly repackaged to prevent damage in transit.
Items must be returned using the original CBO packaging in the form of a carton, bag or tray in which your products were received by you. If the original packaging is missing or damaged, CBO cannot provide additional packaging. Please use cardboard boxes, bags or trays of suitable size and material, in good condition, sufficient to avoid damage in transit.
All products should be packed individually and should not touch each other. Statically sensitive items must be packed in antistatic shielding packaging and properly surrounded with bubble wrap or packing padding to ensure movement restrictions and shock resistance during transport. Environmentally friendly, recyclable packaging material such as paper or cardboard is preferred.
CBO and competitor products must be packed separately.
Ensure that the packaging is securely closed with durable packing tape.
For service exchange, it is important to return only those components that are to be exchanged. CBO is not responsible for excess items that are returned in error.
In all cases of return, the RMA (Return Material Authorization) number you received from CBO must be clearly marked on the outside of the package.
What must be observed when returning goods from outside the EU?
Make sure that documents such as commercial invoices, pro forma invoices, packing slips, etc. are included with the shipment to avoid import delays.
Indicate the RMA number, country of origin and quotation number on all enclosed documents.
What do I have to consider when labelling the RMA package?
IMPORTANT: Incorrectly labeled or unlabeled RMAs delay the receipt and crediting process! Write down the RMA number on the side of each returned package!
Keep all copies of shipping documents used to return items for at least 1 year.
What do I have to consider for the correct handling of the RMA return package?
Please note the following pictures for a correct submission of your RMA delivery. Non-compliance can lead to problems, delays, a reduction of your credit or even a refusal to accept your shipment!
